Joyful Goals is a fun, inclusive weekly soccer-based program designed for kids with special needs to build movement, confidence, and social skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
Through engaging games, playful activities, and age-appropriate soccer movements, players will have opportunities to improve coordination, balance, body awareness, communication, teamwork, and social interaction—all while having fun.
Every session is centered around joy, encouragement, and connection. Players will be supported by coaches and peers, celebrated for their individual progress, and encouraged to participate at their own pace.
Joyful Goals was created by a former professional soccer player with a passion for helping kids with disabilities build confidence, connection, and joy through movement.
After graduating from UCLA, I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism. My career has given me years of hands-on experience working in the ABA field with children with a wide range of disabilities, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of how to support each child’s unique needs, strengths, and abilities. I also volunteered at an occupational therapy clinic for children with special needs, further expanding my experience working with kids through movement and skill development.
As a soccer player and coach, I’ve always believed in the power of movement, play, and sport to build confidence and create meaningful connections. I created Joyful Goals to bring together my two passions—soccer and working with children with disabilities—in an environment where every child feels welcomed, supported, and celebrated.
At Joyful Goals, success isn’t measured by goals scored or games won. It’s measured by a child trying something new, making a connection, gaining confidence, or simply having a great time. Every child has their own goals, and every accomplishment deserves to be celebrated.
